Highly intelligent; can learn tricks. Brave active, lively and playful. Gentle, loving and trusting. Likes to bark and reserved with strangers. Loves to play outdoors and some like to jump in puddles. May snap if surprised or irritated. May be difficult to house- break and can be a picky eater. Some can become neurotic if overprotected.
