Intelligent and trainable. Lively, playful, cheerful and alert. Demands time and companionship. Feisty and usually dog-aggressive. May pick fights with larger dogs. Can be reserved with strangers. Very popular breed; beware of over-breeding producing inferior dogs. Good for allergy sufferers.

Colors: Usually comes in red, but may also be black & tan or chocolate

Shedding:Average shedder

Temperment: Very demanding and headstrong. This proud, overly courageous dog likes to bark. They are loyal to their masters
